Our History
In 1957, David Hecht envisioned an interactive kitchen remodel experience that began not in a local carpentry shop but in a showroom. There, an insightful sales team with in-depth product and design knowledge would educate customers so they could select the best products for their homes.
David selected Wood-Mode cabinetry, fine Pennsylvanian cabinets with hand-rubbed custom finishes, to bring to his clients’ homes. Next, he incorporated true built-in appliances and custom countertops featuring inlaid stainless steel sinks. These quality custom features positioned David Hecht Kitchens decades ahead of its time.
Today, we continue to provide our Connecticut and Rhode Island customers with a hand-picked array of beautiful, functional designs and a friendly, helpful design team. Come visit our state-of-the-art showroom in Waterford, CT, and leave as excited about your project as we are.
